What are threads:
It is a facial renewal technique based on the skin of the face with special sutures (threads). Threads are made of pure polypropylene, a material that has been used for many years in medicine. They are crowned so that when placed under the skin they hold it like a hook at a higher point.
Thread lifting streches the facial tissues of the forehead, the cheeks, the neck and the mandibular perimeter. Hanging the face on top of the face leads to the elimination of wrinkles and grooves due to gravity and gives a happy, renewed look.
When threads are efficient:
The method is effective in mild or moderate but not advanced facial relaxation requiring the removal of excess skin. It can even be used to correct post-traumatic or postoperative facial asymmetries. The duration of the result varies depending on age, skin type and number of sutures. The advantages of the method include:
- Short duration of the procedure
- Local anesthesia
- The absence of serious complications
- The short recovery time
