Nasal Septum deviation

Scoliosis of the nasal septum, is one of the most common anatomical deformities of the upper respiratory tract that results in breathing and sleeping difficulties.

The main effects of the deviated septum are difficulty in breathing during exercise, chronic sinusitis, sore throat, snoring and frequent pharyngitis - tonsillitis as the patient breaths through the mouth during sleep.

But there are also several cases where the patient does not complain as he is used in living and breathing with the crooked diaphragm and he thinks his breathing is right.

Examination by the ENT physician using an endoscopic camera will highlight the type and extent of the problem. Correction (septoplasty) is surgical and is the most frequent ENT surgery, with a spectacular improvement in breathing and quality of life of the patient.
